Who we are
The Pen Master is a small team of academic writers, editors and researchers working with university students in the UK, the USA and Australia. We have been doing this for over five years, and in that time we have worked on more than 500 projects — everything from a 500-word reflective piece written the night before a seminar to a 15,000-word dissertation built up over a term.
We are deliberately not a huge content mill. Work is assigned to a writer who actually knows the subject area, because a politics graduate writing a nursing assignment produces exactly the kind of vague, hedge-everything prose that markers penalise.
How we actually work
The process is intentionally simple, because most students find us at a point when they are already short of time.
- You send the brief. Use the quote form or WhatsApp. The more you give us — the assignment brief, the marking rubric, your reading list, lecture slides — the closer the finished work will be to what your department is looking for.
- We send an exact price. The calculator on our site gives you an instant estimate so you know the ballpark. We then read your actual brief and email you a firm quote, usually within four to six hours. There is no obligation at that stage.
- A subject-matched writer starts. You choose the deadline: one to two days if it is urgent, up to seven days or more if you have planned ahead. Longer deadlines cost less and produce better research, so order early where you can.
- You get the work, and you tell us if it is wrong. It arrives as an editable document by email. If something does not match the brief, say so and we will put it right.
What we write
Most of our work is academic: assignments, essays, theses and dissertations, and research papers across social sciences, medicine, history, IT and general subjects. We also handle case studies, summaries and study guides.
Alongside that we take on professional writing — blog content, website copy, social media content and scripts — and we offer proofreading, editing, and AI and plagiarism removal for work you have already drafted yourself but know is not ready to submit.
We write in English, German, Spanish, French and Urdu.
The standards we hold to
Everything is written from scratch. We do not resell work, and we do not recycle material from previous orders. Each piece is checked for originality before it reaches you.
Written by people, not generated. Your work is written by a human writer. We think that matters more now than it ever did — universities are actively screening for generated text, and it reads differently to anyone who marks essays for a living.
Properly referenced. Citations and a reference list come as standard, formatted in Harvard, APA, MLA, Chicago, Vancouver or whichever style your department specifies. Send us the module handbook if you are unsure which one applies.
Confidential. We do not share your name, your university, or the work we produce. Your details are not passed to third parties.
